I am useing Movie studio 8.0

My video prevue window is set to 720 x 480 and everything thing I open up in it display right.
Now when I capture video clips I capture them as
NTSC DV 720 x 480

Now when I open them up they all show up in the prevue window and fits the window

But if I make say a Green Bitmap image 720 x 480 and try to open it up it shows in the prevue window with a Black bar at the top and bottom of the prevue window.

My q/a is my video clips are the same ratio 720 x 480 pixels but if I bake a bitmap or any kind of photo 720 x 480 pixels it shows up in the prevue window with a black bar at the top and bottom.
I would like it to not have a black bar at the top and bottom and show up like my video clips do .
They are both 720 x 480

NTSC DV video has an aspect ration of 0.9xxx, you need to give the same aspect ratio to your green bitmap too in order to fill up the screen. Make sure your project properties are set as NTSC DV btw. Also, don't forget that DV and DV widescreen have the same size, but different aspect ratios.

Create your still images as either 655x480 or 720x528 and then they'll fit the frame perfectly.
