Some of the offerings of video blocks have value but you could easily download that small value in just a few days - not a year....DO NOT Overpay! And believe me, once they have your credit card number you WILL overpay!

I subscribed once and while there is initially a lot of useful content for a new user I did not think this was updated enough over the whole year to make it worthwhile. Having said that, if you need stock footage there is quite a variety (they have added audio and After Effects templates apparently) and a years sub at $99 is pretty cheap compared to other sites. I just didn't have the need for that much stock footage and couldn't make the most of it.

They famously tell you the trial is free but you always get charged the $99. Stuff was average last time I looked. A lifetime subscription to Digital Juice is probably better if that's the sort of stuff you need.

Well it's basically a wide variety of video footage I would look for. Not so much the other stuff but 500 bucks seems like a lot of dough for the Digital Juice. Do you get lots more Video content with the professional package? Or is the footage itself the same for both packages?

I don't mind spending some money for something with a big variety and easy to use.

Whenever you compare providers like video blocks and Digital Juice - you are really comparing peanuts with popcorn. Don't compare them!

Digital Juice is the only provider who has the system in place to customize your feed from their site. Let's say you want a lower third - sure VideoBlocks has some - but you can not customize them. When you acquire a lower third - the first thing you are going to want to do is customize it. Trust me.

Stock footage also needs to be customized or it will look weird in your own production - think about it.

One of my clients got a subscription to videoblocks for me to use to make some videos for them but also let me use it for other projects. The footage is good though you wont find everything your looking for.

I made that with only videoblocks footage, also the footage was higher quality than the video is. If you know exactly the kind of footage you want I think it's probably better to have a sub for a month or two. There are also lots of nice backgrounds for videos you can download in that time and use later.

Don't forget 12 inch design - oh yes by the way there are at least over 100 competing vendors - and by the way videoblocks is just a small shop, an yet an even smaller jobber, and a minor in these leagues.
