VIDEO CAM PLAYBACK

i have two mini dv tapes that won't play in three decks. any other tape that i try works, so it is not a deck problem and i'm wondering what might cause a tape to play back with several digital glitches on the image and audio track. this question might be vague, but i'm hoping there might be some insight as to how to solve the problem.

One thing that could cause it to play back with several digital glitches is that it was recorded with digital glitches. If the glitches always show up in the same place, then you know that it was recorded that way.

Will the tapes play back in the camera in which they recorded? It's possible that misaligned heads in the camera are making it impossible for the decks to read the tape.
