Video Capture

I just bought Movie Studio +DVD Ver. 4 build 42. When I tried to capture from my video camera I get a screen asking for the serial number for Video Capture 5.0 and that the serial number should start with 38 and is on the front of the quick start manual. I can not find any number except the one for the main program. What's going on here?

Download and install the Vegas Movie Studio 4.0a update, in Support | Updates at the top of this page. If that still doesn't fix the problem, try uninstalling and reinstalling 4.0a. Make sure you are logged in as Administrator to install/uninstall.
