Generally these are not the best devices to capture with, not even certain they will work as they don't encode to DV. You'll probably have to capture to MPEG using the vivo capture facility.

Do you have the vivo drivers loaded?

I must admit I've used a similar thing to capture but only using the TiVo like capture and then tried editing that in VV. But seeing as how I was capturing in to mpeg it wasn't such a good look.

Doesn't your camera do passthrough? That's a much better way to go.
