VIDEO CAPTURE NOT WORKING?????

I have ATI all in wonder pro, and am using just a regular video camera with video jacks plugged into Video in. I have other video editing programs and they capture the video fine, for some reason when I click to capture video it gives me a error saying: THERE IS NO VIDEO CAPTURE APPLICATION SPECIFIED IN PREFERENCES. So, I go into preferences and the video options and the area where its supposed to say ATI ALL IN WONDER is all grayed out. The only thing I can do is go into search, so I do that and pick ATI, but it wont do anything. WHY IS THIS HAPPENING?? Please help me if you can.

I have the ATI all-in-wonder 128, and your problem is possibly that Sonic Foundry's video capture is geared towards digital cameras, not standard camcorders. It's looking for a device on a firewire or other digital input card.

I have to use the video capturing utility provided by ATI to capture the video on my system.

Also, when it's time to output the video, the print-to-tape feature of Video Factory is also geared towards the digital world, not a vcr or camcorder.

At least that's my understanding...
