I use V4 and mainly V6. Until today I had no problems with video capture. I am trying to capture a vhs tape through a Canopus ADVC-100, which I have used for several years.
My sound card is a Creative Sound Blaster Audigy 2.
When I try to capture my audio selection is greyed out. In preferences/audio device, the Audigy 2 is not on the select list, altho it is the default audio for everything on the computer.
I have uninstalled Audigy and reinstalled. Even un and re'd the V6. No luck. The problem occurs on both V4 and V6.
Now, when I hook up my digital camcorder through 1394, capture works fine.
Any thoughts as to why my Audigy won't show up as a choice on the audio device drop down?
