Video CD - can't burn

I seem to be having a problem burning a Video CD from my project.

When all relevant boxes are filled in and I click OK, I get a pop-up that says "Read only or invalid path. Please correct it".

I expect it has something to do with the output files spec, but for the life of me I can't figure it out. This is the first time that I have tried to burn a VCD directly.

I am on VV 3.0c.

I should mention that I have no trouble burning to that device from Nero, VCDEasy etc.

Sure hope I am missing something really simple .. :-)

An update ...
I installed VV3 on my laptop with a CD burner and had zero problem burning VCD from the project.

This is pointing to a h/w problem with my CD burner, but how to debug? In Options -> Preferences -> CD Settings the burner was recognized and selected correctly.

As I said in my original post, I have no problems burning on that drive.

Hi ..
It's a Plexwriter 12/10/32S internal SCSI withthe latest firmware. System is Win2K SP2.

I just did another test. Rendered project to VCD first, then selected "existing file" from which to burn and it did. Weird.
