Video Clip as Background

Ive searched but to no avail. I have a 30 second video clip I was wanting to use for the background. I have my project in the preview screen with 1 media button. When I drag my video clip to the preview screen it shows up as another media button and not as the background. Am I doing something wrong? Thanks.

Right-click on the Menu preview and "Set Background Media."
Then on the Properties pane you can set the stretch type, much like setting a desktop background.
