video clips change to progressive scan

v4 is changing some clips from lower field to progressive scan all by it little ol self. some clips yes, some no. captured at the same time in v4. Any thoughts?

Did you shoot some of the video at 1/30th shutter speed? That would cause automatic deinterlacing back when I used Premiere.

What do you mean by "standard DV"? Were you shooting manual or automatic?
