Video Distortion

I'm trying to edit a video in Vegas Pro 18, but it turns out that the video in the project is distorted, it's not that the preview is slow (that's why there is no problem), but that the video is simply distorted and of course it also comes out distorted in the rendering.

Of course the video itself looks good, only that happens in the program, the video is .mp4

I've already tried many things and nothing works, I hope you can help me :(

Read THIS and answer the questions in "B and C". Also, how about filling out your User Profile? What are your computer specs specifically? CPU make and model. GPU make and model and what graphics driver is being used. iGPU if used. How much RAM. What operating system. The source video, where did it come from....
