Video doesn't appear on timeline after placing it

Sorry about my title being a bit skewed. I couldn't edit it for some reason. The subject of my message makes more sense.

Okay, so I guess I should explain the general problem then follow up with my steps. Problem: After I import a .mp4 clip to movie studio (build 1184), I would normally double click it so it places the clip onto the timeline. Usually there would be a video + audio portion. Now when I do that, only the audio portion shows up, not the video along with it.

This problem has never happened before. I haven't changed any options for about a week of using movie studio as well. This problem was happening before I upgraded to 1184 and even after I updated, the problem still persists. Normally, I would record my videos with mirillis action, render it with the built in settings (it uses proper gpu acceleration - it rendered a 20 minute 1080p 60fps clip from .avi into .mp4 in about 5 minutes with the same exact quality and 2gb in size), then open the clip up on movie studio so I could cut things out, apply filters, etc. Just recently this problem has been happening. It doesn't happen with any other .mp4 clip that I import except this one. I haven't recorded anything new since this certain clip was giving problems. I could try it again with a newer clip to see if it is some specific problem with the previous clip. It could be that mirillis just messed up on this one clip for all I know. it's just odd how this problem never occurred before and I would always do the same steps. I also tried playing the clip with windows media player and both the video/audio is present. Same thing shows with the properties of the .mp4 clip (video + audio is present).

My system specs can be viewed on my profile, if it is necessary.

You need to post the complete properties for the file that is not opening the video in Vegas, using Mediainfo, a free download from Sourceforge (don't install any extra "toolbars"). Most likely a simple codec issue, but we need to know which one(s).
