I've read all the links I could find about network rendering, but I didn't see what I was looking for. I'm using a Magic Bullet Black Diffusion filter that came with Vegas 6 and initiated my first network render last night back at school and it was cranking away just fine when I left.
I don't recall if the Magic Bullet HD Film Effects were automatically installed with Vegas 6.0c or if it was a separate install, which brings me to my actual question. Are video and audio effects somehow copied to the renderers before processing begins, or do they need to be installed on all renderers manually beforehand? My guess, now that I think of it, is the latter. I'll find out in a few hours when I get back to the lab, but I thought you might help me emotionally prepare for the realization that I might have wasted a perfectly good night of rendering on a project I had hoped to complete this weekend.
Thanks in advance for the good or bad news.
John
