Video essentials

I'm a bit cross Sony never advised me of the Blueprint deal but I did get an offer on Video Essentials for 60 bucks off. Is this a good buy and is VE good to have. I'm not doing any commercial work only family and friends stuff.

I have New Blue Video Essentials 1 & 2 and am about to get 3. They are wonderful. Real tools that you often need and not gimmicky transitions or video effects. If you buy all three at once you can save some money. Very worthwhile investment IMHO.

If you get it, let us all know how the CMOS "jello" plug in performs. I have VE-1 and I'd buy VE-3 just for that, if it really works.

There are too many versions of this product. There should spend more time tweaking their existing plugs so there is more control instead of filling up the plugin window with more of the same.
