Video Event FX problem. (Bump Map)

Hi to all, I want to apply the "Bump Map" effect to an event, say 20 sec. long.
So I start with the first keyframe and apply the Bump Map, then, say after about 5 sec. I want to have the rest of the event go gradually back to normal (no effect) .
I want to set the second keyframe to "reset to none" problem is that I cant find "reset to none" in the Bump map Preset. In other words, how do I turn off the Bump effect?
Is there a solution to this problem?
Anybody please?

for no-op

intensity = 0
ambience = .5

Thank you so much SonicEPM, its so easy, once you know the answer.

Still I seem to find once the effect is gone, the event does not have the same quality as the original AVI, (less crispness) any way to solve that?

I played around with this a little and i agree that even set to no-op it does look a little softer than the original. You could split the event at that point and then remove the effect after the split, but if there really is a difference then you'll see a jump at the split point rather than a smooth transition.

I just had one of those "duh" moments ;)

Crossfade from the event with the effect to another copy of the event without the effect.

What about this: WORK BACKWARDS!!
COMPLETEY remove the effect delete it from the chain. (save it first so you can recall it - give it a name then hit the disk icon in the effects window)
Now create a keyframe after where you want the bump resored to normal.
(You can always move it over later)
Now create a key frame earlier in the timeline BEFORE where you want the bumpmap to occur. FINALLY sandwhich your bumpmap in the middle with a keyframe.
I hope this helps.
I come from a FL@sh background so Im used to problems like this

Acts7, can you keyframe between having an effect in the chain and not having it in the chain at all? How do you do this? Once you apply the effect, it will be in the chain for the entire duration of the event.

I'm not sure what you mean Acts7, after all I'm a NEWBE, still I'll give it my best, after I hit the sack. Only 4 more hs. to sleep.
Thank you.
