A reasonable question for which i too would like an answer. It is
unfortunate that this post has gone unanswered for such a long time.

Hello,

Apologies for this question going unanswered. We don't yet have a
fixed date for when the plug-in will be out.

Thanks for the update Lance.

Please keep us posted of any developments regarding this issue.

As a polite reminder, marketing information states the the plug-in
will be available "soon".

While "soon" certainly could not be considered a definative time
frame, anything in excess of a month could NOT be considered "soon".

Anxiously awaiting...

Greg

I agree with Greg 1000% - soon is not a month, or "months" away. I
was surprised that it did not have the ability out of the box - it
mentions inside the cover "Provides MPEG 1 & 2 support". When I saw
the insert that said I could download the "free" MPEG plug in from
the website, I thought well, at least it's available. And now I find
out it's not, and there is no definite date. This leaves a VERY VERY
bad taste in my mouth. Now I sit waiting on a feature that was:

1. Advertised on the box
2. Promised as an available free download

And none of it is true.

Hmmmmmmmm... Maybe I should cut my losses now and get my $$ back.

I just checked and it's there NOW. I've downloaded but haven't tried
it yet.
