Hi
After rendering my video ends up like this:

Im not sure what i did wrong, so i was hoping someone here knew.

My other videos has been fine, and i thought i used the same rendering as i always did. But then video ended up like that.
So i tried making a new one, and i got the same again.

Video is fine before rendering, but after rendering the whole video ends up like that. (and a file size of like 40 mb for 9 minutes)
Any idea what i did wrong?

You may be need to post more info on your workflow.

  • Capture software.
  • Captured media formats (Media info print outs)
  • Vegas project settings.
  • Any timeline effects in use
  • render project details being used.
  • PC system specs (CPU, ram, gpu, motherboard, audio hardware, ect)

This will give the community more info to help you with.

0.5 ~ 0.6 megabits per second is less than a joke when 10 ~ 35 megabits are needed.

Capture software - Obs, which is set to 1920x1080 59,940 fps

PC specs:
Intel I7 4770k
Msi gtx 970

Dont know exactly which settings i used in the project.
When it comes to effects it was simply putting some clips together, adding some titles and 1 audio clip added. DOne it before with no issues, but then i got this video twice.

" (and a file size of like 40 mb for 9 minutes)"

40 Megabytes x 8 bits per bytes = 320 Mbits in the whole rendered video file.

9 minutes x60 seconds / minute = 540 seconds in the whole rendered file.

320 Mbits / 540 second = 0.59 Mbits / seconds.

The target bit rate of your render template is just too low. The target bit rate should be 8 Mbits / sec or more. Preferably, as high as you can practically make it.
