When I set my capture pixel dimensions to 1920x1080 or any other 16x9 aspect ratio and render to a 16x9 aspect ratio, I get consistently good results. What are your capture pixel dimensions?

I have the settings set to 1360x728 on 16x9 aspect ratio scaled to 1080p

Well, 728 is not divisible by 9. Additionally, 1360 / 16 = 85, and 85 * 9 = 765, so clearly 1360x728 is not even close to the 16:9 aspect ration.

Just searched it up, well according to sources it's 16x9 but I know that my monitor is 1360x768 btw I typed the resolution wrong. Sorry.

OK, so it still has to chop off the last three pixels of each row, to cut it down to 765 for an actual 16:9 AR.

Doesn't scaling to 1920x1080 in obs help with that?

Red Prince wrote on 6/3/2018, 4:03 PM

Are you now saying OBS is converting it to 1080p?

1. I said that earlier. 2. Yes, there is an option for resolution scaling in obs and it is activated.

Found out the solution. Disable maintain aspect ratio and don't allow Vegas to change the video for rendering.
