I have Movie Studio 8.0 and I have Two Qs??

Q 1.
When I am in Movie Studio and I go to File and then Properties I can setup Aspect Ratio and Fram Size and there is something called.....Full-resolution rendering quality

I can pick DRAFT....PREVUIE...GOOD.......BEST

This has nothing to do with how my Video will look when I make it and it is on my desktop or what ever I do with it?

Hi Brain,
In the window that you open, go to the top right corner and click on the '?' and then click on the writing 'Full resolution rendering quality' and a help menu will pop up. Click on the 'video' choice, and that should answer your questions. Let us know if this helps. Cin

VMS can render a selected piece of the timeline. Try to render i.e. 5 seconds with the different settings. Clock the time the rendering process takes and compate it to the quality you get from it.
To my own opinion there is no big difference between best and good - but you have to try it for yourself because it also depends on the input that you use in your own setup..

I think do not think I asked my Q the right way.

When I go to File then Properties it give the Frame Rate and Ratio Size the one box that says........Full Resalotion Rendering Qwality.

What is this for........I did go to the help files and it just told me that if you ave proformance problems to set it to good.

But I want to knoe if I set it to DRAFT wahat will it do....and if I set it to GOOD what will it do....and if I set it to BEST what will it do?

Is this how it will capture or what? I want to know what they re for what they do.
Thankx

Leave it at BEST. It's used when you do a "Make Movie". You want your video to look the best, correct? Besides, I don't believe it affects the output file size too much.

By the way, how about replying to your thread, HERE to let us know if you figured it out.
