Video Inputs Arrgghh....

Hi all,

I bought a Firewire card and a Pyro A/V link and got it all hooked up so I could monitor in an external tv.

To my shock, the tv I have in the studio only has an input for cable! No rca jacks for inputs anywhere.

Does anyone know of an adapter that will allow me to convert from the rca plugs to the 75 ohm connector on my tv?

Peace,

Any radio shack or walmart has a converter that will allow this. I think it is about $25.

You need a RF modulator from radio shack, around $30.00.
be careful they come in stereo or mono for audio input.

Since Vegas doesn't preview audio from the timeline I guess the Mono or Stereo doesn't really matter.

Only if you need it to be multipurpose . Why waste the money on mono hookup?
that way you can use the same tv for previewing your rendered dvd from any dvd player.

You could hear audio from the timeline on the TV by connecting your sound card to the modulator. I can think of reasons you might want to do that.
