Hope someone can help:

Editing a photo montage, lots of resizing, borders, etc.

I'm seeing cuts lagging behind audio by about 1/2 second.

Preview is set to automatic, window size is small.

If I pause playback before the cut, then push play, cut happens on the beat.

Running 2.8ghz, 1gb ram

Any thoughts?
