Video Loops

I like to use video loops as background to some of my titles. As you know, these are small (4 or 5-sec) clips that end in the same way that they started, so they can be seamlessly stretched for any length.
I used to use the free Ulead VideoStudio demos, but they no longer seem to make new ones. I am tired of the ones that I have, and I am *not* buying VS for that ...
Any of you knows where to find libraries of those free video loops ? Or, a *free* video loop generator ?

I don't know of one offhand, but here's an egalitarian thought...

How bout folks here creating a loop and offering it to the group? There are a lot of folks here with the talent and inspiration, we could build a pool.

by the way... other than just doing a crossfade, how DO you make the loop seamless?
for instance, i have a running creek as a backgroud. well.. obviously you can't control the water.

You are right, seamless loop is *not* easy, I guess you can't do it with "true" water, but only "digital" water. I have one of those.
That was the merit of VideoStudio. It could make a video loop from several parameters (also from a numeric "seed") and it was seamless.

Here's a trick I use...

I make the segment, then I split it in two pieces...

I take the front piece, move it to the back and find a good way to dissolve between the two and render it.

The head and the tail of the new clip should butt together seamlessly.
