video loops for sale??

I'm not sure "video loop" is the right word. I think someone refers to them as "stock footage", but I'm not sure.

What I'm looking for is royalty free video clips for use in the same way as you can buy cd's with sound effects for movies and videos.

Can anyone point me in the right direction?

The free samples of MainConcept video loops use Indeo® video 5.10 -- which Vegas 6c wouldn't play (although they displayed on the timeline). It's been a long time since I needed to download a codec! Why does MainConcept use Indeo!?!
