Is Pixelan currently the only company that makes video plug-ins for Vegas Video? If so, can we expect anyone else to be releasing some soon?

Currently, yes. But I think this will pick up as Vegas is doing very well.

I'd like to see you guys work with a company to deliver a good titler. I know that the VF has some new titling capabilities, but I can't get the VF stuff to work with VV (so I'll just wait until VV3.0 comes out)

Being as the new titler renders 3 times faster with shadows and glows, you might want to work on getting it going. Plus all the other cool stuff like deformation, scaling, placement............
The trick is to drag the proper "sonic foundry text" line from the plug-ins window up to the timeline. My system list two of these plus a " sonic foundry video factory text" line. Of these three, it is the middle one on my system.
