I am currenly using the latest version of vegas pro (22) and have constantly been running into the issue of a 7 second video delay on the video preview even though the raw file has the video and audio perfetly in sync (as well as on the timeline in vegas since i did a test render and it turned out just fine). I have tried everything from changing the File I/O settings to include things like legacy AVC coding, experimental HEVC decoding, and have tried using gpu acceleration, but no dice. I am currently running a AMD Ryzen 7 3700x CPU, 32 GB ram, a Radeon RX 580 series GPU, and am currently storing my videos in a 4TB hard drive instead of my local drive. Any answer would be greatly appreciated.
