Video Preview Window

I somehow managed to make the video preview window COMPLETELY DISAPPEAR. When I click View - Video Preview, it does not appear. When I hit Alt+4, it does not appear. It does not show up as a tab, in the window docking area, or as a floating window. I have no problems making any other windows appear in the docking area, but when I try to make the video preview window appear, the top of the window page (the blue bar) simply fickers. I don't know what to do, but I am desperate because I can't edit a thing. Thanks so much if you can help.

Might have moved away from the viewable area of the monitor. You might have to completely uninstall Vegas and its user settings and re-install. I don't have other ideas about this.

What about the magic super secret handshake? (otherwise known as restarting with default settings). That, I would have guessed, would default the window location.?

I can't remember what the shortcuts are to restart the apps with default settings =
shift+launch program?
ctrl+shift+ launch program?

-I'm not going to experiment to find out, but you could search the forums for it. It's definitely been mentioned in the SF forum,

yes, it worked!!! the shortcut was ctrl+shift & now i see the video preview window. thanks so much for your help, guys.
