Video Size. Is it supposed to be in kilobytes?

When I click on the the properties option to view the size of my video in VegasPro 20 it shows up in kilobytes? I rendered a new video for practice and it showed rendering at 40 megabytes. When I click on the properties of the completed rendered video it shows up in kilobytes again. Width under project properties is 1,920 with height at 1,080. I'm just learning how to use Vegas Pro. It appears easy, just confused about the kilobyte. Only want to upload to YouTube in the future. I'm using windows 11 in a new computer system with updated hardware. Thank you.

It turns out after rendering the video into an MP4 format that the properties show up in the MB format I'm used to seeing. I initially didn't find it on my computer. Still getting used to Windows 11, which layout is inferior to XP and windows 7.

Still strange to right mouse click a program to look at the properties and have it show up in kilobytes when you know the video is a big file. Maybe that's how VegasPro streams it for easier editing, before the actual rendering of the video.

Thank you so much for being ready to help out. Looks like I worried about nothing.

@ZS62 I don't understand your problem, it does show as MBs.

This is VP21 but i had a look & VP20 is the same.

I am seeing what @Former user posted. That is why I asked for a screen shot.
