I am working with Vegas Video 16 in Windows 11.

My project has 2 video tracks, one which is my main track and one which floats in to create an effect. The effects track is visible in the Video Preview window when I play it back but when I render the project the effects track doesn't render

This is a function I have used many times in this program and I have checked all the obvious things. I think my program may be corrupted.

Earlier today I tried to load an MP3 into an audio track and it wouldn't accept it. I used a WAV file and it worked but my program has never had an issue with MP3's before.

Has anyone else experienced anything like this?
