VIDEO WANDERS ON TIMELINE

Help! This has never happend to me before, but I just moved my studio. Maybe? When I'm editing my weekly TV program, I set my pan-crop to certain parameters but when I cut to that scene, it comes on as I set it, but then it starts to wander--like a full half-screen. I got to the end of the clip and the parameters are the same, so it should stay steady the whole clip, but it continues to have a mind of its own--wandering. Can anyone help me, please?

How many keyframes do you have?

Normally you keyframe A-start, keyframe B-end.

If you have a keyframe C that is the same as B, then delete it.

EVen though I have the same two key frames--at the beginning and end--it still wanders. Very strange.

If you have two identical keyframes, that can happen. The video is trying to move from one to another position (even if is is the same), if depending upon the curve you have set on the keyframes movement, it will try to "move" to that position, causing a drift.

What do you mean by the "curve you have set." Too my knowledge I haven't set any curve, but from you answer I'd say this is the key to solving the problem. You know, you move your studio and the computer acts up--it's a given!

The curve is the keyframe characteristic. Smooth, linear, hold, etc.
