VideoFactory 2.0 crashes Windows XP

In Windows XP, I installed Video Factory 2.0 and updated to 2.???c. Attempts to activate it cause system to freeze and then the screen to go black.

Have you changed you video driver lately or go and try to update the video driver. I had just updated mine and VF would lock so I went back to the older driver and it is fine.

Go into desktop, left click and select properties. Choose Settings, Advanced, and Troubleshooting. Turn the video acceleration down a notch or two.

I had the same problem and I've been fine since I did this per Sonic Foundry tech support.
