Gary and Videoguys have been at it since the early days of DV and Gary's responses/posts in DV forums are always informative (not just plugging products, if you get what I mean).

As well, what a resource their website is to anyone involved in PC editing.

Check on the current exchange rate, taxes and applicable duties. It might be cheaper to buy it here.
http://www.future-micro.ca/Home.htm has it for $765 and http://www.dvshop.ca/perifs/converter.html has it for $769.
If you're a student, http://www.studica.ca/Canopus/ has if for $621.
All prices are CDN $.
BTW, the Videoguys price is good. B&H wants $550 US for it.
