Is it possible to get a thumbnail view of pictures in the Explorer?
I am making a slideshow and there are hundreds of anonymously named pictures on the folder. Clicking the preview button for each one is a little tedious.
Or use the normal Windows Explorer - see the folders as Thumbnails and drag the thumbnail directly to the time line.
Using the Windows Explorer gives you also the possibility to set the thumbnail size (use the free Windows Power Toys) - i.e. I have a 26 inch LCD and watch the thumbnails in 180x180 pix.
With sometimes 2000 stills for one video - and many similiar - taken from slightly different angles of the same motive - the 180x180 really gives a good impression for choosing the right ones.
Thanks for the good ideas. I think I will go for the Explorer, I just tested it and the automatic crossfades still work if I drag a bunch of pictures into the timeline.
