Views continue to become hidden

I never had this problem with Vegas 5 but with 6, even when all basic views are enabled, the player viewer and the master level control which are usually docked together are now separated. I can see one or the other, not both as I once could. I think this began when I had to work with several audio and video tracks druing the editing phase of a project. This resulted in compressing the size of the video player monitor. Now the video player window and the master level control remain un-docked and are both disappearing behind other windows constantly. Very annoying..

Suggestions??

You could take advantage of the ability to save your windows configurations (Ctrl/Alt/D + number) and revert to your favorites at any time (Alt/D + number).
