Vista, DEP, and Medialib building

I just wanted to create another version of medialib file, but while adding clips from indicated directory, Vegas dies at some 35% (exactly after having added 262 files), no matter how I try. Vista says it had to stop it to protect my computer (something to do with DEP, which I have set to the default "protect only important Windows apps".

Under XP, the same directories' contents is added flawlessly, and my medialib file built successfully.

Anybody?

The below may not help as I don't use MediaManager, but I think it may have to do with folder permissions, i.e. the application does not have sufficient rights to work with the contents of a folder. The two issues I have experienced are as follows:
1) You have to edit the security properties of a directory and give full rights to allow reading and writing to the various users.
2) I have had to run an application in administrator mode in order to create a file larger than 2GB.

You're right that the Vista permissions can be very restrictive, but all subfolders and clips in them where acquired exactly the same way, so this isn't a very probable explanation. Also, I used to have a complete medialib up and running under Vista on the same machine, prior to some reinstallation. All my clips were accessible!

The only global change since that is that I have .NET 3.5 installed (some on-the-fly backup program needed it) - but can't see any connection here, either...

What it says basically is that my "videos.medialib" file couldn't be open or found - but in fact it is there, and contains exactly 262 files I mentioned above (analogous library that was successfully buit under XP from the same clip locations has almost 1000 clips).

Any ideas? I', personally suspecting the .NET 3.5....
