VLC error message

I have Movie Studio 15 Platinum and have made a number of videos successfully which is great. However I am currently trying to edit together 4 videos into one with some titles and and end frame. Everything seems to go fine and I render the video but nothing is saved and when I try to open the file I get the following error: VLC is unable to open the MRL file.

I have tested other files and everything works fine so I am wondering if there is something I have done in the editing process that has created this error?

Appreciate any help with this as this file takes 1 1/2 hours to render and so far I have done it three times, goign back to the original source files and re-editing each time!

Movie Studio doesn't export MRL files. So if VLC claims to have problem with opening an MRL file this does not seem to be related to Movie Studio.

How are you rendering. Which template are you using?

Thanks Marco and EricLNZ - this is what is weird. If I import the files individually and edit them, then I just click on Make Movie and select MP4 and then it renders. This works on each file individually but when I import all 4 videos and edit them together, it goes through the rendering process but there is a 0 file size. Odd?
