I have to ask my father. Maybe reinstall will help? We are on win7. j-v wrote on 11/20/2021, 11:11 AM Do you need build number? No because I have nothing to compare Maybe reinstall will help? We are on win7. Try it, but even better is a total reset exactly following this link: http://www.vegascreativesoftware.info/us/forum/faq-how-can-i-reset-vegas-pro-to-default-settings--104646/ Also needed to see the exact MediaInfo, which says a lot about the possibilities of those sourcefiles: http://www.vegascreativesoftware.info/us/forum/faq-how-to-post-mediainfo-and-vegas-pro-file-properties--104561/ relaxvideo wrote on 11/23/2021, 1:59 PM So i checked those files, and all has AC3 audio track. That is the problem. If i convert the track to AAC, and copy the video track with AVIDEMUX, it works. So: - any solution to import mp4 with ac3 audio track in VMS PE 11? - if not, why not import the video only? it's compatible.. thanks! EricLNZ wrote on 11/23/2021, 3:50 PM AC3 audio in mp4 is unusual, although not unknown. Where did the files come from? relaxvideo wrote on 11/24/2021, 10:06 AM Dont remember. Maybe my father ripped some home made dvd-s to mp4 with handbrake or super video converter. But ac3 is supported in mp4 container since years. Maybe not when VMS 11 was released :) 1
