VMS or DAS

Hello,
I've used VMS 8.0 to make a slide show (with all of your help) but I have not used DVD Architect Studio 4.5 that I installed when I first purchased this. I don't understand what the difference is or why I would use DAS.

Could you please enlighten me -- or advise exactly where I could find out the exact difference.

VMS is for editing video and creating files that you can view on your PC. DAS is for burning your video onto a DVD disc with (or without) menus to watch on your TV with a DVD player.
