VMS Platinum 10 HD audio drops in render

I'm experiencing a problem while rendering with Platinum 10 HD. I'm getting audio drops where several seconds to a few minutes of the audio drop out in my rendered files. I'm currently working on rendering a 67 min video to burn to dvd. Rendering it to an MPEG2 for use with DVD Achitect 5 and after waiting 1 1/2 hours for the render to complete, I have a blank section in the rendered file.

I would suggest turning off any anti-virus you may be running and disconnecting your internet connection during render. if you can disable excessive background services that may help as well. If that doesn't solve the problem, please post your system specs and more info about the source file you're rendering.
