VMS11 best render settings

Please advice what is the best (fastest) setting when making movie ?
I have 15 hours of AVCHD with following format:

Bit rate : 15,8 Mbps
Maximum bit rate : 16,0 Mbps
Width : 1.920 billedpunkter
Height : 1.080 billedpunkter
Display aspect ratio : 16:9
Frame rate : 25,000 fps
Color space : YUV

Now- in order to show this on my TV I need a mp4 file, because the TV can only play this file type from a external disk.
Can anybody help me with the render setting ?, I have tried several, but the render time for just 20 min. of footage are soooo sloooowww.

It sounds like you're outputting this for some sort of device for playing on TV rather than to a BluRay disc.

If that's the case, it's really the device that will dictate the specs of your output.

What specs does the manufacturer recommend? "MP4" is generic enough that it could describe any of dozens of formats, frame rates, codecs and compression levels.
