VMSP 8 Windows Vista Compatibility

After upgrading from Windows XP SP 2 to Windows Vista SP1

Explorer in VMSP refuses to go to my video folder
C:\Users\my name\Videos\DVD Clips

It still wants to go My Documents folder in Windows XP, which no longer exists

Do we have to upgrade to Version 9 to get this to work again?

No, just re-install vegas. Although I don't see why Explorer would refuse to go to a directory.

I did re-install VMSP after installing Windows Vista SP1

But the Explorer tab refuses to go to
C:\Users\my name\Videos\DVD Clips

I guess I could try re-installing it

Works fine for me. Maybe the files that are there are not supported by Vegas so you can't see them? Also, don't use Explorer to load videos, I personally have that tab disabled. Try the Project Media tab instead and load stuff from there.
