When I first tried to record through a mic with phantom turned on, I can hear my own recording with effects through an earphone. Now I can't. However, I can hear the playback with effects after recordings. There must be something simple that I missed. I'm using the newest Vegas Pro 10. Please help. I'm using M-Audio Fast Track Ultra and record in mono mode through Ch 1 and output through Ch 1-2 and master. I have recharged the batteries in the mic. I have a Sony VAIO laptop with i7 processor and with Window 7 OS.
