After having adjusted the volume envelope on my audio track, I bring different pieces of music on the track below. However as soon as drop this media, the envelopes move all over. Is there a way to " lock the envelopes" . Thanks
I edit video and the audio. In some of the audio clips on a single track, I adjust the volume envelope as needed. Next I add an audio track for music. As soon I import music clips and drop them on the music track, the volume envelopes on the audio track do not stick to the clips that they were supposed to be stuck to before dropping the music on the music track.I hope that makes it a little more clear.

Well I, for one, am still not quite clear.
You say the volume envelopes on the audio track do not stick to the clips that they were supposed to be stuck to ... as far as I know the envelopes aren't supposed to "stick" to the clip .. they "stick" to the track. You *can* make them stick to the clip if you slide the clip left and right (forward and backward in time).
What I don't understand .. if you are adding music to an audio track .. why it modifies a completly different audio track.
So .. what, exactly, happens to the envelopes .. where do they go .. what do they do?
