Vorbis OGM and OGG files? How to import? Please?

Actually my question is more about how to import OGM? Does one need to convert to AVI? What type of Media file is it anyway? I can see the OGG Vorbis is potentially import-able. I say potentially as I haven't tried it myself.

I have searched the site here, the results say, can't import OGM. Anything changed?

Not my problem but trying to assist another user.

Exported OGG from SF, imported same file into Vegas to problem.
Vorbis is an open source free codec for streaming etc, etc.
OGM is a wrapper like AVI for audio and video, again all freebie stuff. OGM mightn't work in Vegas, it's Directshow.
