VP 21 Cannot adjust volume in audio clip

Have a project otherwise working and rendering, however in one clip on timeline the horizontal blue audio level is up in the video track above and cannot be moved. If you select the audio track in the clip it turns white. I must have accidently clicked or done something. Audio works in the clip, just can't be adjusted. ???

It is similar, the line alternates between blue and white. The white line appears "stuck in the above video track when you hover or select the audio track. It turns blue if you click the video track.

It looks like the blue level Handle was pushed up too high and spilled into the video track above.Now the blue volume handle is stuck and cannot be moved.

@TVJohn Here it is replicated, showing a poss reason for it happening & a poss fix to get it working again.
