VP11 &12 On Same Computer

Will VP11 & 12 live happily on the same computer? I've seen where it has been mentioned that NBT1&2 caused problems for one another upon upgrading.
I've purchased VP12 and NBT2, and plan to install them after I finish a couple of project that I am presently working on. I'm a believer of doing clean installs but at this time I don't have that option. VP11 has been fairly stable, for what I have asked of it, and I hate to uninstall or corrupt it due to installing VP12. Just trying to lower the posibilities of finding myself unhappy while I let VP12 prove itself worthy. Many thanks to everyone in advance.

I have them both opened and working at the same time on some occasions. I've also copied my timeline from 12 and pasted on 11 while both were opened (I work only with uncompressed AVIs). BUT (and this is a big BUT) I too have read stories of trouble this has caused others, so take this as only one of a handful of testaments.

I have the 32-bit & 64-bit versions of 11 and 64-bit version of 12 on my machine right now and all work fine. The only issue with NB Titler 2 was when adding libraries and effects, they go into NB version 1's folders. I had to manually copy the effects into NBT2's folders.

It appears to be the case for many that installing VegasPro 11 and 12 versions and have them concurrent on the same computer is generally a safe bet.

However, there have been some configuration quirks about this type of install. If you found that Version 11 was troublesome on your computer the install of Version12 can become somewhat problematic. Oddly if you once you have this kind of situation - it may be possible to tweak your system to make 12 absolutely work, but then absolutely lose the returning to Version 11. This could be because 12 appears to be better built code and more stable app once you achieve the optimum config of your system...do not expect much in any case from 11.
