How do you send an "E" mail with this thing? Don't see any way to type.

YOU know that for sure!?

No, this is by no means known for sure. SCS merely included OSX among a call for new beta testers; exactly what product might be released for that platform wasn't announced. Nor even if it's a completely new product of an OSX version of an existing application.

"Don't see any way to type."

You can write on it, just like pen and paper. The software can convert hadnwriting into text.
I wouldn't really consider them a keyboard replacement, you can use them with a keyboard and a mouse although many users don't use a mouse, they just use the tablet as a mouse, pointing device and drawing device. Unlike a mouse it is pressure sensitive, just like drawing with a pen/pencil/brush. You can change the stylus to get different brushes.

They also make a couple of monitors that you can "draw" on,very cool.

I have been a sony vegas since pro 6 and have always loved the software until started having serious issues with pro 11 crashing over and over. I had some problems with 10 and thought 11 would be better but it is worse. I like the features in 11 but until sony fixes the problem and makes it stable I just can't trust it. I have installed the latest updates to no avail. I have went back to version 9 as it seems to be stable. I use version 9 everyday in my business, it sure would be nice to have the new features of 11 working properly. Sony I think its time to FIX THE PROBLEM. Thank You

@Digifish - You are not alone. I am completely pissed at Sony and their lack of support. This time they just put out a plain bad product. 32bit, no problem. The rest of us doing work on 64bit builds are just plain screwed.

GPU support - but you have to turn it off to be stable
Dynamic ram - turn it off to be stable
deleting effects - do them one by one, and save in between each click, might be unstable
hit play - don't do that, it might be unstable

The amount of rationalizing that goes on is insane. Adobe doesn't have this problem. If there is an error that is widespread, they deal with it. Features get requested, and added.

I ended up moving back to 10 for everything. GPU support isn't worth a dime if the program keeps crashing on basic functions.
