VP13 missing- 'Do you want to use this location?

VP13 seem to be missing a function that the previous versions had.

Can anyone confirm this?

When source files are moved to another folder Vegas gives the option to search for it or specify a new location.

But in VP13 if I select the ' 'Specify a new location or replacement file' checkbox I have to assign all the files one by one even if all the media is in one single folder.

In the previous version Vegas detects that the other files are also present in the changed folder and asks ' Do you want to use this location?' then it loads the rest of the files automatically.

That function does work when I choose 'search for missing file' but that takes much longer than specifying the folder. Due to Vegas searching the whole drive instead of the specified folder.

OldSmoke,

Thanks for the test.
Hmm, It seems this only happens to one specific project others do work indeed.
It must be something unique then.

i am having this problem right now. I had to move some projects off a drive and on to a new one and for some reason the search function isn't working. I have noticed this in other versions of Vegas from time to time. but never really thought much of it as the issue didn't come up much and i didn't have may files in the project. but now i have many project files with hundreds of files in them that i will have to search by hand when i need to open them. in the past i have fixed this by changing drive letters of the drive that the project files are currently contained back to the original drive letter the files.
The weird thing about this problem is that the location of the file vegas says it cant find is the exact location of the file vegas cant find.
