I am an infrequent editor and each time I have a project (a big one every couple of years, I will be months on this one!) it takes me a little while to get back into the swing of things.
I have upgraded from VP12 to VP13. In VP12 I had my timeline toolbar at the top of the timeline window. I can't find how to get it up there in VP13. I like it at the top. That's where it should be. Nice and easy to find, at the top of the timeline window which, in turn, is at the top of my layout.
Another annoying simple thing I haven't worked out is how to lock (eg volume) envelopes so that I do not drag points by mistake when I am editing scenes. It seems to be a fundamental requirement to be able to lock these points but I am unable to find how it can be done. I end up hiding the envelopes to avoid changing things I don't want to change.
Another I would find enormously useful would be to temporarily override event grouping (eg Ctl while dragging) like you can override snapping by using the shift key. I am for ever wanting to move an audio event independent of its video so I have to keep turning grouping on and off. Why not a temporary override?
I have found before that 95% of stuff VP can do, I don't want to do. But little simple things are still missing after 13 versions. Or is there something(s) I missed here?
