VP15 bug? Event headers keep re-enabling themselves

NickHope wrote on 10/31/2017, 4:52 AM

Since VP15 build 216 came out, I turned off the new event headers under the View menu > Event Headers. However they have turned themselves back on several times. I haven't worked out the exact circumstances yet. Has anyone else noticed this?

I can’t test VP15 anymore but isn’t their setting stored with the window layout? Meaning that you need to save the window layout in which you have them disabled?

Ah, thanks OldSmoke. I see now that it was occurring when I loaded my default layout, which I had made in build 177 and have programmed to the F10 key. However re-saving this layout with the event headers off still doesn't work. I've had to overwrite layout 0 with a layout of a different name, and now it's OK.

I just also discovered how eventheaders enables themselves, but I see that Nick also already found the solution. It's indeed a setting of the default layout (which cannot be overwritten).
