VP17 (b321) LUT's in HDR only show 100 nits

Hi all,

I am experimenting with the HDR workflow right now. So, I run the latest version of Vegas (17 b321) and my Windows HDR setup works. So my Nvidia supports HDR and my Sony screen shows that it displaying in "HDR10 mode".

Colorgrading of Sony Sgamut3.cine / Slog3 gifs me a nice color spectrum of about 0 to 1000 nits on the scopes. All working well. Now I want to add an artistic LUT (cube or 3dl) and all of a sudden, the picture seems crushed and the scopes show a limited view of no more than 100 nits.

I tried searching for HDR 10 bit LUT's but nothing changes the result. So there is no way for me to add a LUT on the HDR10 workflow that gifs me more than 100 nits.

Is this something that I do wrong, or does the LUT's do not support HDR10, or does the LUT-plugin don't handle HDR10?

Please help me on this one guys!

cheers, Joost
